We all know the importance of Operational Risk, but all too often this is viewed as a negative aspect of any business. We should be looking at the positive aspects that the current focus on operational risk can bring our businesses, from the smallest "one man band" to the largest corporates. The benefits can be HUGE...............cost savings- particularly in the IT arena, improved communication - the office junior can have a voice for once, other frontline colleagues can bring so many suggestions and issues to the forefront..........................CEO's should not sign off on the policy just to meet their insurance or regulatory requirements and then let it gather dust in a drawer, USE IT for the benefit of everyone!

Positive approach to risk - brilliant. Right mindset = good business practise, not to mention tons of benefits including cost savings!
